Herbs and Metallic Taste

Have recently started a detox program. Taking various pills that include black radish powder,peppermint leaf powder,cornsilk powder,plantain leaf powder,kelp{finasco],bearberry leaf powder,cleavers powder and laminaria[kelp] extract.This is the ELEMIS Deep Drainage Body Enhancement Capsules. Also the other one is ELEMIS Invigorating Cal-Metab Plus Body Enhancement Capsules that are made up ofkelp [finasco]powder,laminara kelp extract, plantain leaf powder.
Since the 3 days I take these I have a terrible metallic taste in my mouth. Chatted with the manufacturer Elemis who said they never had anyone experience this kind reaction.
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

thanks for this. i did not take the detox pills yesterday and did not have the taste. i will go to the pharmacy and the health food store and ask. thanks for the help! Merlin from Montreal

I called the pharm yesterday with a question about herbs.  she said because they are not fda inspected they can put anything they want in the herb mixes. She said in school they tested one mx of herbs and t had viagra in it.
