and the other good news is, most people working in a medical field are offered insurance.

Thanks for your remarks. I would love to work for the county clinic where I am being treated. However, if I did I would loose coverage for the treatment so I will have to wait until after tx to seek a position there. But, I am working in a medical office and of course I have not told them my situation. I am just more comfortable that way.

Congrats, Daniel. Nice way to make lemonade outta lemons. :)

That is excellent Daniel...I as well have just begun to research the possibility of qualifying for some type of state or federally funded vocational rehab. I am not on any type of disability, but due to my ongoing joint /muscle aches and pains, which I believe are hcv related, I fear my occupation as a construction general contractor/worker may have to end sooner than I would like. Any tips would greatly be appreciated. I'm going to start making some phone calls Monday...
Best of luck to you in your new career as a vampire !!(vbg)...:*) pro
Wow that's great! It's amazing how one ca turn negative things into positive. Congratulations!

hey that's using your noggin'...glad you found a fall back position.
actually I was just thinking about that today....how medical, and particularly sit down jobs would be easier on HepC treaters. The intake and phone medical people are all pretty relaxed and get to sit a lot...that would be the best advantage for a treater...since we have problems getting out of breath.
