Wait til Wednesday May 28 to begin tx. That way blood draw will take place a week after injection #1, and just before injection #2. This way your doctor can see the effect of one injection on your viral load.
Good luck with your tx.

Thanks JD
I will wait until Wed. morning to begin tx. I am just anxious to get started. I handled the tx very well last time so I don't really have a lot of anxiety which would normally cause me to procrastinate starting the treatment.

Good luck with the treatment Daniel, I hope it all goes well for you.
what happened in your last attempt?
I am not absolutely sure. When I was told that Hep C came back I was a little in shock and don't know if I heard correctly. I will be reviewing my labs on June 10 with my doctor and do my best to get more details. But it seems to be I was told that I did the treatment for 44 weeks in total when I should have been doing the tx for 44 weeks from the time that the hep c was undetectable. So more or less I did not do the treatment long enough. I am hoping to become unelectable shortly after starting the treatment and am going to ask by doctor is I can go beyond the 44 weeks of tx just to give the tx an extra kick. Thanks for asking.

I treated twice . Relapsed both times in 4 weeks. Want to wait for better tx
I started treatment about 7 weeks ago with interferon and Ribaviri when i started treatment my biopsy showed 0 to 2 stage damage. All my LFT were good but, my ALT and AST were high and i had a 1,450,000 viral load. My first blood test taken after 4 weeks of treatment showed that my ALT and AST had gone down and my viral load was now 222,000 thats a 60.5 prcent improvement on my viral load., I have not had any side effects since the first interferon shot and i am doing fine on the Ribavinn also. I realize that i am very lucky because some people have severe reactions. I am getting ready for my second blood test and hope i keep improveing. I have Geno type 1a which is the hardest to eradicate but i had some good things going into treatment, i was healthy, LFT good, female, and not much damage. What was against me was my age 53 and my geno type 1a but i am responding very well so dont get discouraged about statistics. I hope every one of us that are members in this club that never asked for membership keep supporting eachother by passing knowledge to eachother so that we all have a chance to live a long and healthy live. God bless Effie
