treatment for chronic hepatitis b patients depends on viral load or liver fibrosis?

If you have high viral load but no fibrosis, is treatment needed ?

I started with a high viral load and Fibrosis = 0, so it's based on viral load yes

Did your viral load went down with treatment ? And did your fibrosis still f0? Will taking treatment keep fibrosis not go to f1 or f2 ?
My viral load went to undetectable. Be aware that just because it was undetectable, does not mean I can stop meds or I am "cured". Only when hbsag is negative and I build immunity, am I considered "cured". The treated did not keep fibrosis going from F1 or F2. I've seen it go up to this and then back to F0 and again back up to F1 again again F0. Diet likely plays a big part of where your fibrosis score will be.
Thank you very much for your reply

Well, you said your doctor recommended treatment right?

We are lay persons here not doctors. For a second opinion about the need for treatment you should probably ask someone who works in the medical field like another doctor experienced in the treatment of hep b and liver disease.
