I am 30 and have been diagnosed with hepatitis b 14 years back. Recently I went through a full checkup with the consultation my physician.
It shows:
DNA (PCR): undetected
HBeAg: Negative (sample rate (0.34; cut off :1)
Anti Hbe/HebAb: Reactive (sample 0.02; cut off:1)
HBsAg: Reactive (sample 2660; cut off 1)
Alt: 15 U/L
Two years back I went through the same diagnostic which shows:
HBV- DNA: 314 (IU/mL)
ALT (SGPT): 20
HBS AG: Positive
HBe Ag: Negative ( sample rate 0.37; cut off rate 1.20)
Anti HBe: Positive ( sample rate 15.7; cut off rate 1.20)
Please tell me, am I completely cured since DNA status is undetected?
should I take medication?
For your information, I have never gone through medication for Hepatitis B.
