Comparing B and C is like comparing apples and oranges.
Both could damage the liver pretty bad. B has the honor of causing cancer without cirrhosis.
B has C beat with its evolution state since we have 2 soluble antigens.
C is more treatable but treatment is much rougher than B.
If you are not yet infected, there is no excuse for being infected with B since there is a vaccine to prevent infection. C does not have a vaccine.
So aside from it being both "fruits", they are very different.
I only found out that I have Hepatitis B and C a couple of monts ago so I'm not really sure, but I do know that my Dr. said with treatment, I should be able to clear the Hepatitis C within 6 months. He said the Hepatitis B is going to be harder to treat.
I'm not sure exactly what he means by this, but to me I would rather have just C than B.
