Hey Stef, thanks for the reply. What vitamins is best to take for the deficiency? Can I take a women's multivitamin?

yes unless the change of color is due to fungus on your nails, in that case yo need antifugus drugs on the nails

not discoluration but my thumb nails and one feet thumb nail are 1-2 wavy. These were not long ago but i have noticed them for past 3 years. i m on viread for 1year. There may be some association with hbv but not viread i guess so because hbv causes dysfunctioning of liver which has direct role in amino acid systhesis for keratin(nail protein) and melanin(skin colour protein). Hence viread will only improve liver function by reducing hbv and not hamper it. As a drug it does'nt interferes with melanin or keratin synthesis ie. no such side effects.

vit d deficiency but magnesium, zinc, vitamin mk7 are cofactor to vit d

Hey Stef if iwhat treat the deficiency is it possible my normal nail color will return?

I came here to say the same as Stef has said. I've been on it for almost 3 years and did not experience this. I can't recall which one it was related to, but it's either a Zinc or Magensium deficiency.

I've only been on viread 3months starting tomorrow I now have acne I can't control no matter what I use nothing works and I noe have brown maekd on the back of my hands also in between the fingers blemishes and bumps on legs I can see a vein in my leg looks nothing like a spider vein though looks as if a tourniquet id being placed this all started after starting treatment

My son is almost 3 years using Viread (TDF) but does not experience nail discoloration. He did have a lot of acne on his face in the early months but its gone. According to Stef this acne has nothing to do with taking Viread but perhaps more because of not so clean bed sheets, etc.
