HBeAG seroconverted but Anti-HBe still negative

I am a chronic carrier since childhood and started medication in 2013 after a hep b flare (high AST/ALT). Recently, I have developed Anti-Hbs without Anti-Hbe. I have researched online and couldn't find a similar case.

Is it possible for the body to remove HBeAG without developing Anti-HBe? Is it safe to stop medication (entecavir) with my low and decreasing Anti-HBs levels? Should I wait to develop Anti-HBe before stopping medication?

HBeAG
1H13 - 2H16 - Reactive
1H17 - 1H18 - Non-Reactive

Anti-Hbe
1H13 - 1H18 - Non-Reactive

HBsAG
2H15 - 78 IU/mL
2H16 - 16 IU/mL
2H17 - Non-Reactive

Anti-HBs
1H13 - 1H17 - Non-Reactive
2H17 - 14  IU/L
1H18 - 10 IU/L

HBV Load
1H13 - 20,000
2H13 - 100
1H14 - 1H18 - Undetectable

Thank you for your time

It looks like you have developed antibodies for HBsAG which means that you are "cured" and your immune system should be able to control the viral antigens from this point on. Your condition is rare. Since you seroconverted while on medicine, it's possible to not develop HBeAb and still clean HBeAG. Get the HbeAb test redone after 6 months or so but since you are HBsAb positive, I wouldn't worry about it.

Congrats and goodluck. :)
