Last updates on my case

Hello everyone!

My history on short version:
2015-06 - discover hbv accidentally
2015-07 :
- DNA hbv - 7560 UI/ml
- HbsAg - 19029 ui/ml
- HbeAg - negative
- HbeAb - positive
- ALT - 38 - 43 U/l
- AST - 26 - 28 U/l
- Fibroscan 0.10(F0)
2015-11: Fibroscan 10.1 kpA(F3)
2016-03: Start ETV 0.5 mg/daily
- HbsAg - 12449 UI/ml
- DnaHbv - 6750 ui/ml

Now, after 3 months on etv i did some check up and the results are:
-ALT: 26.5 U/l
-AST: 20.6 U/l
- hemograme all normal (plt - 199.000)
-indirect bilirubine: 0.78 mg/dl (0-0.99)
-direct bilirubine: 0.45 mg/dl (0-0.2)
-total bilirubine: 1.23 mg/dl (0.1-1.2).
-urobilinogen 1mg/dl.
This bilirubine is making me nervous and urobilinogen in urine. My urine has a yellowish colour.
Next month i will do also DNA hbv quantitative to see if etv works, but as you see my alt dropped to 26 from 43 last time. What are your thoughts? Good luck to everyone!

I did an ultrasound today, and ARFI also. The result of arfi was 1.44 m/s. The dr said it correlated to F2 but i'am not sure. Where can i find a good cut off values for this method?

I got my result today:
HBV-DNA : undetectable
Limit of detection: 15 ui/ml
Conversion: ui/ml x 3.41 = copies
This mean the virus is there, but undetectable, right? Somewhere between 1 and 15 ui?

Right, between 1 and 15, you don't need to worry how much exactly when it comes so low.
When TAF becomes available you might consider switching to it...as it is probably a less carcinogenic drug then entecavir (considering they need to be taken over long period of time).

All the best

I expect your DNA to be undetectable when you measure it.
