no it comes with hbv infection not liver damage, but the more liver damage the less vit D in the blood usually
cod liver oil is very rich of vit D but it is not the best source for a person with hbv because it has huge amounts of vitamin A which is toxic for the liver (only betacarotene which is a vitamin a precuror is very safe not vit A directly), cod liver oil has also been frequently found polluted by mercury and other substances.
i use normal fish oil (not cod liver) for omega 3 because of this higher risk with codliver and i take only the type filtered for mercury (best brands check and filter for this)
i have used both natural extract of vit d3 but the levels are very low (300iu per pill) so now i am using the chemical supplement.check also for the vit d type, D3 is the best because the same as the one produced by sun exposure
Thank you for reply! I do take cod liver oil but just stardet 1weak ago it is litle beter maybe I shuld ad vitamin d suplument sins here in chicago we dont have much sun. but does vitamin d deficenty comes with sevier liver demage or I am wrong?
ibuprofen is not indicated if you are a hbv carrier
about 95% hbv carriers have deficent vit D, the new levels have been changed lately and optimum range is 50-60ng/ml, check your vit D level and see if increasing vit d in blood to 50ng/ml makes any better
i had low vit D and when the level reached more 20ngml all bone pains went away, it is just my experience and bone pains can be due to many other reasons but i'd try vit D first since it is not harmful until a level of 100ng/ml but it is very difficult to reach such a level even with ultramega doses
20" daily sun exposure can increase vit D as well if you are south regions
