Yes, it is possible due to potential past damage. For example it depends if you had chronic active hepB for 30 yrs and then went inactive compared to being active for 1 yr and then inactive.
A simple ultrasound is the best answer to see the size of your liver. But the ultrasound won't really tell you much about the condition of your liver unless it is in a cirrhotic state.
A biospy or equivalent is the only way.
