Hepatitis Be Antigen Non Reactive 0.27 = she may not be in acute stage.

The Hepatitis 'e' antigen (HBeAg) is a peptide and normally detectable in the bloodstream when the Hepatitis B virus is actively reproducing, this in turn leads to the person being much more infectious and at a greater risk of progression to liver disease. The exact function of this non structural protein is unknown, however it is thought that HBe may be influential in suppressing the immune systems response to HBV infection(?). HBeAg is generally detectable at the same time as HBsAg and disappears before HBsAg disappears. The presence of HBeAg in chronic infection is generally taken to indicate that HBV is actively reproducing and there is a higher probability of liver damage. In acute infection HBeAg is generally only transiently present.

hepatitis C anitbody Non Reactive 0.34 = she is not immune to HCV:  She could be infected by HCV is she is exposed to it.

Hepatitis B Virus By Pcr: DNA not detected. = Her HBV is not replicating much now:  The HBV in her is not very active now.

If you as the mother is HBsAg negative, then either you cleared it or your daughter was infected by some other means.

She needs to have a liver test and full hep B panel test (including DNA virus load) so that you know status of the disease....we could only tell you she is HBV positive with negative antigen base on the result you provided which could reflect infection since baby time.....

Are *you* Hep B positive?  If she was infected before the vaccination was administered then it wouldn't have worked.

She needs to be under the care of a good doctor and will be monitored for the rest of her very likely to be long, healthy life.

>>>I dont know what to do at the moment.

If she is confirmed to have HBV and no antibody, have her followed by her doctor.

>>>yet i am not yet sure

If she is HBsAG titer Reactive, she probably has HBV.  Her doctor can give her more tests and treat her accordingly.

Best.

HBsAG titer Reactive   ( 3253) = she has HBV
HBeAG non Reactive   ( .092) = she could have HBeAg negative chronic Hep-B.

Do you have other lab results of hers?  age, ethnic background, etc?
