Hey Frijole. I am drinking 8 glasses of water every day, and a bit more if the headaches are bad. It is, however, getting harder to force myself to drink. I am eating too much and have gained weight (no motivation to exercise). Doc said the AD would do that too, but I'm having quite a time eating with every dose.
My VL went from 10,700,000 to 329,000 in week 4, with just the SOCs. My HGB is somewhere around 10 or 11, so we are certainly keeping an eye on that. No idea on ANC, I will have to look when I get home. Feeling way better than on Friday but still a bit weak and headachy.
Thanks Streamline! Thanks TiredTurkey!

It never ceases to amaze me how differently we react to all of these meds. May I ask -- how much water are you drinking with your pills and how much food are you eating?
I am on week 7 - just a hair ahead of you - and cannot say I really feel the VIC impact other than exhaustion. I hate the taste of the VIC and flooding the pills out with a lot of water seems to help, although sometimes it is hard to make myself do that.
Remind me what your 4-week lead-in viral load was and what was your HGB and ANC the same time.

Thanks, it is interesting to hear. It seems everyone was starting incivek when I started July 7th. I have to say I feel lucky with the incivek. I thought that drug would have been much harder for me but the Riba seems to be the harder one for me. One nice thing about incivek I would sleep all the time on it. I would say I probably slept the three months away, but It did have something in it that was therapeutic. Less headaches, waking up with less of that feeling not so well. I'd chose it again . I wish you the same easy feeling with the VIC. Good luck.....It does go faster then you think.
