6 months PCR

Hey gang -- remember me!  I haven't been writing much but I have been lurking around.  Things have changed a bit -- what's with all these icons and advertising.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with all my pals that I got my 6 months results:  HCV RNA, QN, PCR <1.70
                 HCV RNA IU/mL <50

So this means that I'm cleared post 6 months.  HURRAY

I'm 1a bx grade 1 did 1 year of pegasys/rebetrol and cleared at 12 weeks 24 weeks and now post 6 months still clear.

This was my favorite place to come and share and listen to all of you.  God bless you guys and please hang in there -- it will get better.

Lots of love, Lori

Hi Lori,

Congratulations! Great to hear from you. You started a little bit before me and always were a great support for me! How is your big family doing?

It's so great to share spirit and strength with you.  Doing tx for a year with 4 children ages 11, 9, 7, and 5 yrs old was no picnic.  I was really dying towards the end of tx.  It took a lot out of me.  But I did it and so can you.

Hey Guy,
The hunters didn't have any luck this round, maybe next year. Hubby is doing "fairly well" according to doc. Still waiting for 8 week PCR test results, it has been 2 weeks since they drew the blood for it....it is the only thing not back, all the labs were okay I think, alt/ast were 50/56, a little high, but not bad. He does 10/48 in a few minutes....he seems to handle them fairly well. Hope all is well with you and yours, Have a Hoppy Easter!

Scott,
I have been lurking and reading all the posts. It is very refreshing to see someone take control of their own medical condition, it is rare indeed and you are to be commended for it! So, I commend you! You are one tough cookie....60 weeks, WOW! Your wife is great, I have read her posts and tell her for me that I am with her 100% and I understand completely.
