what is a log drop?

I've read this in a few posts and have no idea what they are talking about.

A log-drop is a reduction in viral load of one decimal place, i.e. if you start with a viral load of 3,000,000, a one-log drop would mean a viral load of 300,000. It is equivalent to a 90% reduction is viral load. Just move the decimal place one to the left and you've got it.

Also a "Log~Drop" can be when you feed your dog all those left overs out of the
fridge for supper and then take him for a walk the next morning!
