After incivek, does your taste buds start working right again?

I am concerned about cooking Thanksgiving! Is it the Incivek that is jacking with my sense of smell and taste or is it the whole triple, or which one? If it's the Incivek, is there anyone that could tell me how long did it take before you got your sense of smell and taste back to normal after stopping?
Thanks,
Carolyn

That's not what I wanted to hear! So I have 4 more months of chemicals in my brain, it actually subsided about 20 % after I started Prozac last week, but today the smells came back with a vengeance, it literally keeps me from doing to much, the more my blood starts to flo, the worse it gets. I wonder if I should up my Prozac. I am only on 20 mg. I think I will just run away from home for thanksgiving!

If an Oreo did that, I wonder what a hot fudge sundae would do?? lol

I never took Incivek however in all my 72 weeks of treatment everything tasted like medicine.  It did come back after a few weeks then I ate everything in the house it tasted so marvelous.  Like an Oreo was miraculous and made me cry.

Just remember it's only this one Thanksgiving.

and dont worry I'm from NY and say hardly anything correctly ;)

Doing both SOC and a PI i found it didn't matter, treatment kills your tastebuds and sense of smell.
