Another new drug

Went to see my Doc to get started on new drugs, because I have stage 4 portal hyper tension and likely cirrhosis. he recommends that I go into a trial at Virginia Mason for another new drug that will be added to the mix(peg, rib and incivek) He did not know much about the drug so I am hoping someone on this site does.
So now I am witing again to hear from Virginia Mason to see if I am eligable for new trial.
Gotta tell ya I was very excited when I thought I was gonna finally get new drugs now am kinda bummed.
If I don't get in the trial he will put me on new drugs however I was surprised by the % to clear he was giving me.

Have treated twice before cleared first time at 24 wks, but did not sustain.48wks
Second time was going to do 72 wks cleared at 24wks again, but I stoped.

Is anyone elses Doc talking with them about this?
Hector how about you?

Hi.  Soooo another drug on top of triple therapy??  I'm bumping you to the top so maybe someone here can help, as I am unfamiliar with this.  Only other drugs I have heard about are the all oral trials, so I wonder did he/she mean those?  Hope tx goes better for you this go'round.

Yes another drug on top of triple therpy...so if Virginia Mason does get a hold of me I will post.
I should hear from them in 7 to 10 days and then go through process to qualify.

My Doc thought the trial would start this fall.
