Ledipasvir + sofosbuvir=harvoni...Is that true?
Is it ok if I take only Sofosbuvir?

I'm just a member here and not a moderator but believe it's against policy to offer prescription medcation for sale in the community forums.
Potentially some offers may be scams and or against the laws of some countries.

I am going to India next week to find out about getting a prescription and buying one of the generic brands Hepcvir. I am posting a diary of what happens and if I am successful, which I hope might be helpful to anyone, like myself, who has Hep C and can not afford the $95K. If you want to know how it goes you can follow the story on www.hepatitisctreatment.homestead.com
I praise the Indian government for not being intimidated by Big Pharma
I received two back-to-back "not-detected" results after 6 months of Interferon and Ribavirin treatments. A month off ot treatment, I tested again, and the virus had come back in a big way (based on viral count).
I am currently in China, a country that does not have access to Harvoni, but I understand that there is inexpensive availability of Harvoni in Mongolia, a country that I have also worked in before and could again. My question is: If I went back to work in Mongolia, would I be allowed to get on the treatment at the same price as Mongolian citizens? The plan by my doctor here in China is for me to stay on Interferon/Ribavirin for another 11 months, but I don't think I can maintain my job that long with all the debilitating side effects that I suffered through last time.
Any info regarding my question about availability of Harvoni in Mongolia for foreign workers would be appreciated.
Joe
Hi everyone -
You can report by using the report feature on every post. On a computer, move your mouse over to the right side of the post, and Report should appear in red. You can then choose the appropriate category (Abuse, spam, etc.), and if needed, give a brief explanation.
On a mobile device, Report is in blue on the lower left side of the post. Tapping on it will give the same options.
Thanks!

Warning Some new members are soliciting by offering to sell new HCV Meds and asking to reply by sending a private message. Not only is this against MedHelp rules there is a high likely chance it could be a scam and or an attempt to get personal information.
Please report any to MedHelp. Sometimes it may take longer to remove if not reported I just reported one from Mar 31, 2015 I think the report abuse link at the bottom of the page may work faster and better for this type of post
Did u get your interferon
I have been informed that Cipla wants to launch generic harvoni next month under domestic brand which called HEPCVIR. I have subscribed to news in tweeter https://mobile.twitter.com/hashtag/harvoni , it seems very actual now.
This post discusses a treatment for HepC Genotype 1 that is interferon-free, ribavirin-free (therefore fewer side effects) - sofosbuvir/ledipasvir daily combination pill : http://blogs.hepmag.com/lucindakporter/2014/05/new_hepatitis_c_drug_1.html
Hi Alex-
Doesn't this company offer the generic for $2500.? Seems steep, and how would you know that is was authentic or that it would get through customs? At that price, one could fly to India and do the treatment there.
Why Egypt? It is more likely to get it in India where all the pills are made.
India makes most of the pills for everything you can think of and ships them to Canada and the USA.
Hi everyone! I have found today the pre-order offer for generic harvoni from India. I have been informed from newsletters that generic version become available soon within 2-3 months on Indian market . Does anyone know something else about this? Any ideas? My Mom suffering from fibrosis stage 3 and i feel that here is only one way to beat HEP using harvoni. But our insurance would not cover branded version!!! Does anyone waiting the generic version like me? Any suggestions, please .
Thanks and regards,
Alex
