Blood on bathroom wall
Hello, yesterday I used a public restroom and the toilet paper roll was put on backwards, so the unrolled paper was leaning against the wall. I used it a couple times for #2, and then noticed that there was a small smear of dried blood (very light) in the area where the paper was laying against the wall. I'm concerned it may have touched the blood and gotten into the little open cuts I get around the anus when going #2.
I used a tissue to lightly wipe the spot and nothing came off on it, so I don't think it could have flaked onto the tissue. But would toilet paper even touching it have a risk of transmission of any kind of Hepatitis, if it was wiped onto the open cuts there?

Just to add with the current generation of hep c meds approved since 2014 the current levels of Hep C infection in the US nationally, estimated prevalence was 1.3% among males and 0.6% among females so your odds of randomly encountering someone with hep c are now much less then before so many previously infected are now cured.

So several things
You don’t know that was blood
You don’t know assuming that it was blood that it transferred to the paper.
Even if it was blood and you did transfer to the paper you would need open fresh actively bleeding cuts not simply minor anal fisures.
Another point is that only about 4% of the population has hepatitis c so your odds of randomly encountering hepatitis c infected person are very low and add to that the even lower odds the supposed blood would have to have been left there by someone infected recently enough that any virus present would still be able to infect someone.
All together thinking logically, I would hope you can see your odds of having a risk from what you have described is negligible to almost non existent.
If you continue to have concerns you can get tested for hep c antibodies in 12 weeks.
