Wonder if it's caused by weather? or what the cause of it is.

I think if it gets brokendown by age, you see different countries emerge. The young people seem to be most at risk, under 25, I believe. Sweden has long dark days in the winter, that might contribute, but why mostly young people?
If we can break down by season, and age, how different will the results be?

btw, the taxes for their medical system come from income. As my daughter is telling me. She does not drive because it is costly to own a car and to get a driver's license.
Many countries in Northern Europe have extended dark days not just Sweden. Clearly Eastern Europe has the highest rates not Western Europe. Sweden didn't even make the list. I'd say economy has more to do with it than age.
when we get rid of Bush,
I thought the riba had taken care of that for you, LOL....
Sweden made number 18 on the list in the age group 15-24. Not the highest in the world, but still high enough for concern. That is their next generation.
this site places the rates even higher:
the highest suicide rates are found in eastern Europe. On top is Lithuania (74.3 for men and 13.9 for women), Russia (69.3/11.9) and Belarus (63.3/10.3). After follows Kazakhstan, Estonia, Sri Lanka, Hungary, Slovenia, Ukraine and Latvia.
per latest figures of April 06. It always makes me wonder how many of the first cause of death (accidents) were actually suicides?
