Question

Hi guys, okay? I'll start tx Thursday, therapy with riba / peginf. Can I be fine to travel alone in February 18 ?

I’ve decided to put several things on hold while on trt and I’m glad I did.  Taking on extra things and going on vacation while not feeling your best can be disappointing.  Sort of like having a very bad flu and not wanting to do very much.  Being in the comforts of your own home and getting additional rest when needed is important, especially in the first month or so.  Once you become adjusted to trt and begin to realize what you feel up to, then you might be in a better position to be selective about some travel.  

If Carnival is anything like Mardi Gras in New Orleans, dealing with the huge crowds and high energy would be challenging for me.  But a few weeks of staying on a beach villa in the Caribbean sounds very inviting.   Let us know how you’re doing as you begin trt.  Best of luck to you.

You will do great. The anxiety before starting treatment can be difficult, but you will do fine.

Hi.  Since you're already in Brazil, how long will it take you to get to Carnival??  If it's not a plane ride away, you might be okay.  You will need to take a cooler with ice packs for your meds, and have a fridge available when you get there. If it is a plane ride away, you should check policy on traveling with syringes and check with the pharmacy on how to store/pack it/unpack it (since it would be under pressure), to avoid damage.  If it were me.......I would skip it and go next year.  Only because, at the beginning of treatment, you just don't know how you will be feeling.  And since you are traveling alone..... it's a hard call.

Since everyone is different and has different side effects it is hard to say
Can you change the cruise?...or delay tx?  Just a thought
