Eating liver friendly?

Hi All,
A member of our forum has just told me something that I have never heard before. And that is to make sure my hubby eats "liver friendly".  What does that mean in the manner of foods to eat for a healthy liver?  I know alcohol is tabu, he does not smoke but what about the foods?  Does anyone have a good healthy diet for someone with hep C ?

Appreciated!

Fruits, vegetables. Stay away from a regular meat diet, also avoid iron rich foods, hamburgers, hot wings, and these mega-burgers offered at Burger King and other fast food places. They should not call those Super Burgers, but instead should be called Suicide Burgers. Otherwise, it's up to you...
