FAT PILLS????

This question may seem real silly - but I must ask ..... why have they not brought out a pill that contains a healthy 20 grams of fat that can be taken with the Incivek doses instead of us having to choke down fatty, sugary unhealthy stuff 3 times a day???  I am so very nauseated daily that this in itself has made treatment horrific..... and of course add ALL the other side effects and OMG!!!!!

I used peanut-butter the first 12 weeks, although I was Victrelis, not Incivek.
My last week of Treatment was last week. For the first time, I loosened up, and began eating less, when popping my riba and Victrelis pills.  The last pills I took with just a plum, and I got a terrible headachea nd stomach ache, from doing this. I had much less nausea, when I ate well.
I think the idea is to eat well on all the pills, so if they made a "27 grm fat pill", people would avoid eating. I spent alot of my savings on pampering myself with appetizing foods, on this Tx. I tried to switch around. Three small containers of yogurt contain 27 grams of fat, but the Greek Yogurt, would've been way to filling, so I just used the Brown Cow whole milk yogurts, while I took all the pills.
I avoided most of the fruit on the bottem, as I dont like too much sugar either, but the plain yogurt was alos unappetizing. Good luck~

an avacado medium has 20grams of fat.  I would eat them twice a day with incevik, easy, nutritious, I will never eat another one the rest of my life, but it did the job on tx.  Good luck

I was really big on macadamia nuts and raw almonds.

Any kind of nut butter is usually pretty high in fat content (e.g. almond butter).

Flaxseed oil comes in the capsules as well

I would mix couple of tbs flexseed oil with cottage cheese, use the mixer.

Flax seed meal is high in fat. Add it to fresh fruit smoothies and drink it down.Or use coconut oil.
Avocados are high in fat content too.
Some folk here use Greek whole milk yogurt.
For nausea, try ginger, in any and all it's forms.
Be sure your taking your riba with a substantial meal as that can cause nausea too.

Most pills are processed through your liver. The reason for tx is to help your liver. Also, our bodies do best with real food. Eat well and try to do some exercise.Keep drinking water and, I know it's hard, try not to dwell on how your body feels.

I think those pills would be pretty hard to swallow due to the volume of 20 grams of fat. A tablespoon of vegetable oil is 14 grams of pure fat so imagine choking down 1 1/2 tablespoons three times a day.

There is no reason that your fat has to come in a sugary form. There are lots of options for getting that fat, like nuts and cheese.
