wondering about this

Read this some where
But when it gets bad, it will get bad. you currently are not reporting edema in your legs, ascites in your belly, easy bleeding or bruising ( if there is bleeding from the mouth or rectum, get to an ER FAST), shortness of breath, changes in mental status (Hepatic Encephalopathy is caused when the liver cannot clear wastes from your body and return them to your blood stream -- patients report being crazy, forgetful, angry, confused, sleepiness, etc), GI symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. So far so good for you. This can get very serious.

What does GI mean with these symptoms?

Hi there, I hope if you have any more questions you will ask.  There are many people here all willing to help each other.  I have read about people that did not get those symptoms until it was too late for help.  I hope you can get some help.

My best to you, Dee

Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are common medical conditions. Most people have experienced upset stomach, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, gas in the GI tract, or changes in bowel habits (e.g., diarrhea, constipation).

I'm sorry but it is just impossible for any of us to guess and I really believe you are over worrying here. Without your husband going to a doctor reading stuff on the internet and not knowing what one is looking for creates way to much stress, it is very easy to convince ones self things are much worse then what they are by doing this... Until your husband decides he wants to at least see a doctor there is nothing you can do. I can read a lot of things on the internet and believe I have a lot of problems when really there is nothing to worry about...... Hang in there and good luck.
