Three months really isn't a long time when speaking of hep C.
The big question is what condition is your liver in?
When did you have the first biopsy?
What were your biopsy results?
Once those things are known, then its easier to know what your options are.
Hi,
Ya,GSD's only K9 to have!
I have already had one Bio~and the Dr.s are quiet sure I WILL NOT clear the virus~I guess if you have symptoms, like jaundice, etc early on,than you are LIKELY to clear it~But,I did not and they are not even considering me,too. y ain concern is what harm am I doing waiting 3 mo? when I first arrived she was ready to treat e right there~needle in hand~than I mentioned depression~and she went back ward~But,at first she was telling e to jump on it~FAST~NOW
A biopsy is a smart move to determine the health of your liver to help you and your doctor decide your next step. Once the biopsy results are in, then you can make an informed decision. If depression is a major concern, you should discuss AD's with the doc. Best of luck to you.
gsd...ya gotta love up!!!!....did you just get the virus?? 20 percent of folks clear it on their own...maybe your doc wants to see if you will....you'll most likely get a biopsy...and then make a move on when to treat....theres lots of help here....lots of info that will be very helpful....most of us freak out a little at first..thats the way it goes...you'll most likely be fine.....good luck....billy
