Funding

I have Hep C and my deductible is to high for me to pay up front $6500.00.In the past I've made to much and I owe the IRS a lot,I can't afford my mortgage any more, going to lose the house. I'm 66 years old and thinking of retiring as
of June 1st. Do not see any other options. Is there any funding that I can apply for to pay my deductible so I can get
on the Harvoni program that I was approved for by Medicare but can't meet the deductible requirements to get the Meds.?

Welcome.  You don't have to worry about tx through Medicare and you certainly don't have to pay $6500.  You can tx with generic harvoni for less than $1600.  There are two ppl who are helping HepC patients all over the world to tx without paying an arm and a leg.  Harvoni is made out of two drugs, they are sofosbuvir and ledipasvir and these drugs are now being made in India and other countries in generic form that are just as effective as the same drug being sold in the USA for over $90,000 per tx.  It's not fair and a doctor and another guy are making these drugs available to ppl like you and me.  If you are interested in finding out more, simply google Greg Jefferys or Dr. James Freeman Australia Hepatitis C.  You buy your drugs from an out of the country pharmacy and you get your blood work and follow up from your regular doctor, many ppl are doing this.  I am not allowed to leave links and that's fair, also read around on this forum as I have other information posted in other threads.  good luck

Hello, Why do yu want to wait for insurance approval. they will make you wait as told generics medicines is a very best option. i myself went to mumbai and got generics harvoni for 1200 $ and cost for stay and return flight from Italy to Mumbai .Altogether including medicines, stay and flight all cost for me 3000 $. They also ship medicines.

So if you care for life dont waste time buy Generic Harvoni. They work the same.

Fretboard has given you good information.  You can also check with the drug manufacturer as they can help you pay your deductible.  While it was 4 years ago the manufacturers paid my co pays of $200 a month.
Also there is the PAN foundation.  I hope you find this helpful.
Good luck
