Have not heard of any thing like that. I would call the dr ASAP to get to the bottom of it. Sorry I am unable to help on this' Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Green stool is not a bile problem from what I have heard, since I have had just about every color of the rainbow at one time or another, it is from "decreased colonic transfer time."
If anything, it means that the bile is working because the bile always colors the stool green to begin their journey, bright green like Kermit - but it is not easy being green when you are a stool - the bacteria in colon mixes with digestive juices to change the green stools to brown ( Crystal Gayle's hit - "Dont you make my brown stool green" was a result of this very same problem for the singer)LOL. If there is insufficient bacteria or if there is too quick an elimination (diarrhea or his NASCAR racing brother in law "Runny Stool"), voila! Sacre green!
A quick search reveals green stools are very common and nothing to worry about. Probably something in your diet. Of course, speak to your doctor if concerned. None of us here are doctors.
Even before hcv I didn't drink very much in recent years. In my younger years I used to have a similiar problem with the green peanuts and urine, not poop, had a greenish tint. I was never able to figure it out either. The really strange thing is that it happened on the same date every year, March 18. Haven't thought of that in a long time. Still a mystery.
I may be a bit giddy but I found your post informative and quite funny at the same time. I loved it and learned from it too. Thanks. Mike
uh yeah. i agree w/ mike. i maybe almost bald from these meds, frankly real close to the "comb-over", i've notice this morning, but it hasn't affected my funny-bone yet and that was funny. thanks return.
hiya mike. just wanted to say hi to you. that's all. tracy
Based on your nickname - I'm betting it's excess money flowing through the pipes. You could borrow my wife if you like, her shopping habits should end your symptoms rather abruptly.
Check your bank balance. If that doesn't seem to be the problem I'd bet on a short term intestinal bug.
Good luck.
When do you expect TMA result?
Tomorrow or the next day, thanks for asking. I'd be pretty surprised with good news at this point. As they say, it is what it is.
Now that you've seen the plumber, when do you talk to the new liverhead?
This Thursday. Got all the stuff from the old doc and I'm adding in some stuff from the endo guy, pre-tx, during tx and post-tx. I was thinking about listing dates and results for a bunch of tests (enzymes, plates, hgb, vl, tsh etc.) on a single sheet for easy comparison but a reacp of failure is not my idea of a good time. I expect the new guy will get his own basline of data anyway and a new bx (last in May '05) is a possibility. No time crunch - will not start before mid-August. I hope that your underwear is not too tightly bunched these days. For all the good that optimism does in our lives and as much as we count on it through hard times, it's a fragile thing.
I'm not in a funk. Just keepin' it real. Saw the kid off this morning to finish the week on an organic farm with his classmates. That was fun.
Speaking of things being tight, Dale wasn't it you with high iron and ore samples masquerading as fecal material? Well 12 weeks post, all systems are normal here. Iron and ferritin back where they belong, and no more jewel encrusted eggplants. FYI, ferratin was ~2,000, now ~250.
When I first started on pegasys and NM283, I got green stools. They went away when my dose was reduced.
