My doc hepatologist said the liver has no nerves, so you dont feel pain. You can however have Irritable Bowel Syndrome which can be from Stress.... and that is in the right upper corner by the edge of the ribs... (Gas) ummmm the liver if inflammed can cause referred pain, and the doc can palpate and feel the edges of the liver if hard and inflammed. ummmmm
I think you may or may not have symptoms afte being exposed thats why sooooooo many people do not even know they have it or find out years later. 80% of the people that have HCV do not even know they have it, they are undiagnosed.
Your best bet is to get tested for it. why dont you just get the blood test? M
Some people don't have symptoms, pain in your upper abdomen? I don't think it has anything to do with HepC but I'm not a doctor. I do know when a doctor checks your liver he checks your lower right side. Hope I didn't mis-understand you. I'm sorry I can't help you, maybe someone else will chime in here. God Bless
