Hello. My hepatologist recently told me that the medical community is considering 3 months clear of the virus as cured.
When I treated you had to be clear of the virus for 6 months to be considered SVR...now cured.
What did you treat with?
Hepatitis C doesn't go into "remission". If you don't SVR the virus comes back with a high viral load. You will know you didn't SVR. Like Dee said,
"What did or are you treating with and when? If you SVR you don't have Hepatitis C anymore. You blood tests will only show you once were exposed to the Hepatitis C virus. You will test positive for Hepatitis C antibodies for the rest of your life due to this fact. But you don't have Hepatitis C.
Best to you
