there are companies that specialize with insuring higher risk patients. of course it will cost more. even though someone may have cleared the virus antibodies are enough to put us in that 'high risk" category.
Thanks for promt answers. It may works, so I'll try to set a life insurance upon a questionary only. Fortunately, I've have a PPO helth insurance for a long time. It may help.
the problem with that is all the money you save will be gone if someday you have a medical situation that cost big bucks...unless you somehow have health insurance...i see no incentive to have much of anything in my name.. ....billy.
It might be tough to get coverage if you need to undergo physical exam if the criteria includes bloodwork. Even if SVR the fact that you have antibodies, if tested, may eliminate your application. On the positive side, if you are required to only complete an application with a questionaire you can honestly answer (and you should be honest in it) that you do not have HCV, If you are employed, you might see if you employer provides group life in the benefit package. Many employers offer life insureance, with multiples of you salary, for a reasonable price.
Another option would require some perseverence and discipline on your part. That is to take a reqular amount of money that you would have paid in insurance premiums and committ to make deposits for the same amount in an investment account. This would give very wide options to you and also has some tax benefits - if your plan is to provide for a family of survivors.
