8week Vic viral load

Curious with  SUV or currently past 12 th week, what were your 8 week vl #'s? I know week 12 is the TRUE number for remaining on tx. Going to meet with Doc today and hopefully find out vl at my 8th week of tx. My ALT, AST, have vastly improved to well in the normal range, still curious about the vl at week 8. If not und at 8th week I am sure that is not as good as und obviously, but any data on what that does to your chances at week 12 or possible SVR. Thank you all who post .....

Due to the fact that your situation is very unique, being post transplant, on lowered dosage of interferon and riba there really are no published stats that would apply.

Wishing you all the best with your 8 wk VL test

after starting vic your viral load should drop quickly.  My viral load only went down a little durring the lead in but was undetectable after 2 weeks on vic.

Hello,

I am also on Victrelis.  I was detected at week 8 (102 viral load), but undetected at week 12.  I continue to test undetected and I am in week 26 of 48 weeks of treatment.

The protocal is you need to be under 100 viral load at week 12 to continue on the therapy and completely undetected by week 24 to continue to the 48 weeks.

Good luck!  Keep us informed!  It is always nice to hear good news regarding undetected status on Victrelis.
