Finished triple therapy (19 months of INF and Riba plus the Incivek) on Oct 26th. Had my first labs yesterday. ALT and AST still about running about what they've been running for a long time. That is, AST just one or two points above normal and ALT in the middle of the normal range. TBilli was down to 1.0 and had been running 1.3 to 1.5 so liver function is good.
Had a VL test but that won't be back until next week. I wonder, if it still UND, what that means as far as going forward. I know three months UND means 97% of SVR but 1 month results mean?
Some kind of not as good news was that Gilead has tightened the criteria on entry to the SOF/LED trial. For transplant patients you have to be really ill to get in the trial now. I had been holding out hope that if the triple didn't work I could fallback to that. Still they should be opening up more arms in the coming months as well as competitors coming in with their own drugs. Hope burns eternal. :)
best to everyone, David
I hope you can pull it up as I myself am having some difficulty doing such.If you can ,you will see that the data shows that if UND. @ the 4week point EOT then the predictive value is 96%
I believe it is the 16 th or 17th slide below..
Wishing you the best David....
