I have HCV and HCC. I am Genotype 1a and am awaiting a liver transplant. My gastroenteroligist has just gotten me approved for Sovaldi w/Ribavarin. He had to battle Blue Cross to get it done. So I am very grateful to him for that.

I have seen GrammyA and Michigan57 among others posting waiting to hear if my Dr is able to get me Sovaldi Olysio off label myself. I am genotype 1a null responder 3 or 4  times treatment failure with cirrhosis.
Can you provide some more info for your question? Do you have cirrhosis?  Have you been treated before? Are you seeing a hepatologist and have you asked if you can get the new meds?
Best of luck
Lynn

I think most people who are approved for this treatment have or are close to having cirrhosis, a few in this forum do not.
