cause at 6weeks after tx i had viral done and it was like 1 million and something and ast and alt were high then..
How do you know you relapsed if you didn't have your VL done?
yes iam a relapser as of aug this past year.. Iam geno 1A and i treated for 48 weeks, before tx my vl load was 2 million and something.my grade was 2 and stage 2. . and now i feel like I had a blessing poured upon me.. I didnt get viral load cause viral doesnt really mean anything unless we are treating what i understand in a class i took, i have educated myself alot but still have lots of questions and my dr is very formal and follows thru all the way.. Yeah one time in the past after relapse i started to go to Duke but dr recommend, wait and let see what blood work is doing.. so i did and now iam glad i did..Also what i have heard even if u relapsed, during tx we are giving our liver a rest basically.. Trust me guys iam all knew to this but i try hard to live healthy as possible and it was like a snap crackle pop in my life, just over nite cause i wanna get better and iam determined and yall guys are the best support team that i have admired here..I think yall for all imputs of anyones life..It takes alot to have people that are caring and know the disease.. Yall have a great day :) Sandy
Wow, your numbers really do look pretty darn good! I'd kill for that platelet count. Whatever you're doing, keep it up.
You sure you relapsed? I read some of your old posts and some of the things you said that your doc said seemed a little bit 'off'. I think you also said you were heading to Duke. Have you had a viral load test in the last year? (since the 'relapse' pcr)
Probably as a relapser you should be doing 48 weeks minimum (I dont know but am assuming you are not a geno 1). Your liver enzymes look pretty good considering you have the disease = they are not yet out of line at all. You must be living a good, healthy liver lifestyle right now so keep it up!
