My starting VL was 14,400,000.

I started triple med treatment 9/26/11. (Pegasys, Ribavirin, Incivek)

My 4 week VL was detectable but less than 43.

My 8 week VL which was done on Monday Nov. 11 is: UNDETECTABLE.

Now I am doing the happy dance. (I just hope it stays undetectable.)

Yes, it is definitely excellent news. It is great that you were UND at 4 weeks as well as 7 weeks. I knew our starting dates were very close. I guess we will be in this for the long haul, both of us doing 48 weeks. I wish us all luck and success.

Hi! in Brazil boceprevir treatment / Incivek only being allowed to re-treatment to those with genotype 01. My genotype is 3 ... the triple therapy is indicated in the USA also for new cases and all genotypes?

frijole: Yes, I have to do 48 weeks since I was still detectable at 4 weeks (even though it was under 43). I am not hapy about the 48 weeks but I am definitely happy about the 8 weeks undetectable. And, yes, I was worried because my VL was so high. I am aiming for SVR.

I am on Pegasys 180 weekly, Ribavirin 600 mg every 12 hours, and Incivek 750 mg every 8 hours.

I don't know my phenotype or anything other than Genotype 1.

I was diagnosed in July 2011. I am Genotype 1 (no sub-type). My Liver Biopsy shows Grade 2, Stage 2.  

This is the first time treating. I was disappointed (and very worried) when I was still detectable at 4 weeks but I am very happy I am undetected at 8 weeks. I hope we all make it to SVR.
