My heart goes out to you, I have hep c 43 years, an just finished Sovaldi olysio combo
I too am a survivor of incest, rape and child bad abuse
There is a feeling of powerlessness to treatment, not to mention the very very real psychological. Physiological changes in your body making you feel vulnerable
But if you could possibly spin it around and reframe it that YOU ARE IN CONTROL, you are killing the virus, you are defeating it and soon you will be Free!!!!!!!!!!
As some one else said you are over two thirds 2/3: there
And that is GREAT
We are all in your con
Render and rooting for you

Having experienced the side effects of interferon treatment I now understand what depression is.
Just as I did, you are experiencing these symptoms due the medicine you are taking to rid yourself of a potential deadly virus. We are fortunate because we will be sane again.
Be strong !
Remind yourself that these feelings will not last.
Surround yourself with good music and humor. Watch comedies and avoid the news.
Try to take daily walks to keep both your mind and body as healthy as possibly while going through this difficult treatment.
YOU CAN DO IT !!!!!!
Since you've reached undetected..., cheer.., this hard time-it will pass-though it may feel like a life sentence-TODAY..,it is not. Pat yourself on the back because you have obtained/reached the goal, becoming undetected. For some, that has been a very hard thing to achieve and since you've done thing, 75% of this battle has been won.., just keep up your hard work in this for the 25% and you will have slain this dragon and won this battle!

Hang in there, you are almost done. I don't know about the fever, maybe something going like your doc says. Make sure you are drinking enough water, and eating, even if you don't feel like it. I just finish the same 3 Tx as you are on, and I became more emotional towards the end, especailly the last 2 weeks. If you can try to manage what your environment, so as to avoid the triggers that may upset you. I watched happy movies, tv, read happy books to avoid getting upset. My husband had to cope with my limitations. The end is in sight, you are 3/4 done, you can do it. The last 2 weeks were the hardest for me as far as Sx, felt more tired, muscles were weak, felt toxic, I think that it is normal. Good luck, you are not by yourself here.
dont give up!!!....im on the same treatment as you, although only starting week 2 (for gen 3a). Those are very normal side effects from all the research ive done. Even my doctor was some what reluctant at first about treating me with interferon, because depression is so common and sometimes leads people to quit. Talk to your doctor and see what the advise, whether it be medication, or maybe some coping skills. Also continue to reach out to people in here. There are soo many who have been through it, that can help you the best they can. And always try to remind yourself, its always better than the en stages of cirrosis/liver cancer. Keep pushing, you can do it!
