Does anyone know what make viral load fluctuate? It would seem that someone would have done a study, do you know of any? I wish I could get a viral load test every week to see how diet is affecting the level. My Viral load was 97,400in Jan '07, 25,500in July '07 then 6,900,000 in Dec '07. My gastro says oh that's the way it is . I find it hard to believe that there is no reason for this ... like the virus has a mind of it's own .
The 2 mill is the amout of buggers in one mililiter of blood. Depending on the actual report she received it's probably more like 5 million per ml of blood. Keeping in mind that a person has about 5,600 mililiters of blood in the body - that's a big total number. But depending on the ranges that you read 2 million is considered as 'low' or at the lower end of 'medium'. Some people here have 25 mill per ml. And, the viral load can fluctuate over time and with the numbers that are ovserved with these tests, there is also a swing in the number that can be counted. Any number is too many and the number is not necessarily indicative of a person's condition.
that should be her viral count in her blood..
