Cats need almost daily protein. Cook up some nice meat to get her to eat.
Maybe it was trying to use the petunia as a laxative. It's possible she is not sick from the petunias. She may need to pass hairballs. If she is feeling sick she may have ate this to make herself vomit, getting rid of the hairball or something else. It probably wouldn't hurt to give her some "cat lax" you can buy it in a pet store and just keep it on hand. I hope it's nothing more and she get better.
P.S. I think they have a pet forum here.

What information will I need when I call you?
When you call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center hotline at (888) 426-4435, it’s most helpful to be ready with the following information:
- the species, breed, age, sex, weight and number of animals involved
- the animal’s symptoms
- information regarding the exposure, including the agent (if known), the amount of the agent involved and the time elapsed since the time of exposure.
Have the product container/packaging available for reference. Collect in a sealable plastic bag any material your pet may have vomited or chewed.

Eveery city has a pet poision control center...call them
you can also call the local pet humane society and ask questions...you may be able to lessen the plant effects
I don't think petunias are on the toxic list, either. She may be a tiny bit poisoned because she's small and she ate so much. She'll be all right. There's nothing the vet would do after the vomiting anyway and the kitty did the right thing on her own.
Thank you so much for your response, I'm fairly new to computer age, and don't know how to look these things up. It's only Ivy and me, I'll have to take her to the Vet. if she is still sick tomorrow.
Thanks again - Lynne
