Finally starting Triple therapy with bocep

Hello.. I was supposed to start in like november but the cost of copayments was like double what i make a month.  I attempted to get some assistance and was denied by a few.  My dr office called and asked if i am going to start it or not and i told her i couldnt afford it.  She looked into my getting it through my work pharm since i work at the hospital i'm being treated at and now it'll cost 214 a month and i was approved for some assistance so i might get it for free.  I'm so greatful..    Now after saying all that.. a little background info on me I'm 28 found out by accident that i was hcv positive by routine blood tests showing elevated liver enzymes.. I treated with SOC for 9 months and my moms insurance dropped me when i turned 19.. When I did the tx then I remember the worst effects for me were fatigue and depression..  I wasnt compliant as I was very young and DUMB!   I recently wanted to get into a trial but didnt have any medical records from my first Tx.  I tracked them down and they still have no damn viral loads after I started tx so I dont even know if it was working or not.     I had 2 biopsys.  The most recent one about 4 years ago showed mild damage mild inflammation and i was drinking alot from 18 until that point so I was lucky i guess..   I'm finally starting this tx and am excited and scared at the same time..  IDK what side effects i'll have this time but I at least know i need to be tx for depression before hand I have a counselor now..  Any stories about BOCEP anyone would like to share would be greatly appreciated.

YES!  It took me a freakin year to admit to my counselor i had hep c haha.. But it was helping.. I keep stopping and then going back he already knows my routine.  Having someone that isnt related to you talk you through it helps immensly.  I work in a huge hospital too  i dont even want any of them to know about it.  I had met a doctor on my unit recently and just told him about the hcv..  He said he didnt care but later told me he couldnt date me so idk  i just  hope he doesnt tell people...     i'm 1a

I just found out I have Hepc genotype 2b. My doc is sending me to a specialist in Austin Texas. This is the scariest thing I've ever been through in my life. I don't know when or how soon I'll start treatment or what. Im still in limbo for now but my question was how's the counseling working for you? My mind is going crazy on me plus I also work in a lab. Im a lab tech and work for one of the biggest hospitals in the nation. You think I should seek counsel?
