reponsive to treatment than Gt 1. If he decides to treat, the length will be, probably,
24 weeks instead of 48, for Gt 1.

A transplant will not resolve the Hep C. The infection is in the blood, which affects the liver. And, the damage to a newly transplanted liver is quicker in the presence of Hep C. At stage F0 hubby's liver is almost pristine and he is probably nowhere close to needing a replacement part. Sooner or later he will need to deal with getting rid of the infection and it's best to hang on to the manufacturer's original equipment. . It's not like putting a patch on a flat tire.
