All citrus fruits and vegetable while on Invicek. There are about 20 of then...I googled "list of citrus fruits" .... lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, etc.
Will try to find that list of citrus fruits and post. While on Invicek in combination with avoiding citrus is to be sure to eat the correct amount of fat grams needed. Worry about weight gain later when you are off the tx. And I've heard from friends on Invicek and just think if you can eat and tolerate food at all and function...Bravo!
Avoid while on tx if you can, or when you get off the tx, the amount of sodium & sugars you intake...stop eating red meat...processed meats & cheeses...you can eat chicken, turkey, fish, hard cheeses. Drinking water is very, very important.
It easy to drink a juice but unless you are juicing the whole fruit and not buying a juice it in a bottle or frozen form you will be taking in sugars & additives. I've started making my own peanut butter, sorbet and soups so I can control all of this. All of this is sooooooo time consuming. Seems like all I do is sleep, cook and clean kitchen. Will look for that list for you...but if you find one inbetween now and then, let us know......Good Luck.
I did google, as best I could till I got tired, what fruit and begetables one cant eat on Incivo, but I didn't find anything. I've only been told of grapefruit.
Good chart but started off with liquor and red meats all of which are no-no's. Somehow found that funny. We still have to watch sodium and saturated fat content. It's a beginning. For those on invicek goggle a list of citrus fruits and vegetables which you can't have while on invicek. Good start though. Am keeping chart. Thank you.
yes the 6am dose for me is the worst! Also them ensure drinks have 6 grams of fat in them so i usually take them with some food to add the extra grams of fat and get all the other nutrients ensures have in them.
This is a great bit of information. I was wrong on some foods and can choose from a wider variety. That 6:00 AM dose of fat is getting really old!
Hello, thank you so much for sharing this information with others.
I know people are always looking for good ideas
Thanks again
Dee

I got hungry reading through the food she list's LOL....I'm not on Incivek...but I still found it helpful and interesting. Thanks for sharing it.
