Hi Kim thank you, for you support, you are right just re did my kidney function labs are back up to 60 which I guess is normal for me

But now my ESR ( inflammation is double) it's 40 when it should be 20, and I am having allot of auto immune RA aches and other stuff, think it over did my new found energy

Gotta rest, if anyone knows how to lower inflammation levels , please let me know
I need some info on it

Hi and sorry about concern regarding your kidney function.   Looked it up and it shows moderate #s so I wouldn't be to concerned yet.    Have you perhaps changed labs, been dehydrated, somewhat anemic?     Read that it takes 3 months of current findings before adding in additional tests.    Also aging is a factor as is blood pressure and diabetes.   Would ask your doc and hopefully it will be a minor headache to deal with.   Wish I could add more but hopefully just a snafu and will remedy itself.         ..Kim

I am so sorry that happened to you Gibson girl with no one noticing your kidney functions, I feel a bit like that myself

Is here a special diet you are on, food to eat and not to eat?
Special water, distilled vs not?

to you see a kidney specialist, are there special medications?

I am not sure how to proceed with this
Thank you so very much

Hi there! Congratulations for finishing tx. Gibsongal gave you great information.  I did not treat with the same meds you did but I wanted to mention that after I finished tx it took months for my blood work to get back to normal.  It takes time for the body to normalize.  Hang in there :)

i just had a kidney biopsy and they did bot find bat hcv in the sample.
i have had a egfr in the 40's for about 5 years now.. got my records and was floored that no one told me what that means all this time..

so i was on meds for hiv that were not dosage adjusted for renal issues,, ugh!!!! that caused it i know it  in my heart now with the biopsy clear.. so they said keep an eye on it and tell the docs when hey prescribe meds..

i am still freaking but .. should be ok if i take care of my self and they stop giving me meds that are harmful to the kidneys..

you will get it sorted out.. don't worry. stress is bad!
