Sorry to tell you, but your drinking days should be over, particularly if you have hep c.
I don't. My enzymes were normal before surgery, and have been going back to normal quickly after they spiked (due to anesteshia).
I don't think anyone here can really answer your question (we're all patients with an occasional dr stopping by). But if it were me, I'd get myself checked up in a few weeks (including enzyme levels) and I'd not drink for that same period of time (i.e. until everything is back to normal). Sounds like you had a brief hepatotoxic overexposure to anesthesia, your liver could probably use a little break for a while before you hit the bottle again. As a point of reference, chronic hep C patients commonly have enzymes in the 60-80ish range (although they vary alot), so your 300+ spike was quite a departure from normalcy (which is around 20 or so). Good luck with the new nose.
Thanks, mremeet you kinda gave me what I wanted. Someone who knows something about it (because I know nothing). I was going to get checked at the end of this week, and probablly in a couple weeks time also.
