OOPS! I meant to say....for women AND men. Thanks for the Best Answer vote. I am flattered and batting my llama lashes :)
Great! I get migraines anyway. I have had food adversions all thru this whole treatment. Coffee being one of them workingdog. Also sugar and salt I ate a grilled cheese sandwich the other day and the cheese tasted like I was eating a salt sandwich. The sugar I don't mind as I do have a sweet tooth and don't need the sugar. Also red meat and pork are ify. Also I can't stand the smell of seafood. I have also had nausea all the way thru.
Yeah for you, on completeing treatment!!!
I also found out another contributing factor was my wife. She is a manic depressant and last Sunday she had a bad day. When she gets this she sleeps on the couch as always.I felt bad which contributed to my headaches. They went away Wednesday.Wednesday was her therapy day and I needed to go so the headache went away. That night the headache came back.I told my wife this and we talked. The more we talked the more the headache went away.I chalk this up as another tx after effect which is short lived. These are just some of the things I went through during and after tx.Could this be happening to you?
Thank you for sharing, it is interesting, I would like to figure out what I have changed since tx to cause my hands and feet to ache so much
Thank you again, also glad to hear you are UND

my taste and smell are better now then before tx...some smells were really bugging me but now 4 months post tx i'm getting use to these changes..lots of coffee tastes bitter...had get into newman's coffee to beat the bitter taste..i had some real achy stuff going on for 6 weeks post tx ...headaches too...and on the 7th week post tx the aches and the headaches went away!
I have a bad back and took meds for it,but had to stop to do treatment.I didn't have a back problem for a total of 14 months.I also had no shoulder pain after a shoulder operation after 11 months of SOC.It's strange when on treatment your senses change.Even taste, hearing, and appetite.I read everyone reacts differently to tx.but we try to keep their spirits up and cheer them on.
Very smart of you to try to figure out the actual cause and not just assume what caused it. I'm glad you figured it out.
Hope you can start feeling better again. I've had migrains since I was a kid, oddly enough, I haven't had one since starting treatment, a plus for me!
As for smells........prior to tx, I wasn't crazy about the smell of meat. But during tx, meat smells truly became unbearable and sent me running from the room. Certain co-workers, instead of going to the lunchroom, would eat what smelled like a whole dead cow -- at their desks. Made me wanna hurl! LOL

P.S. Developed an allergy to my deodorant during tx. Had to switch to Crystal Roll On -- no fragrance, no aluminum, and I believe it's for women AND women.
