Anti-inflamatory

Any good  antiflamatory (tendonitis)  over the counter meds? Ibuprofen (apparently hard on the liver) isn't an option anymore.

Hi Dee:  I also seem to be having some luck with using the Vitamix blender,
and adding different kinds of flax-seeds, chia-seeds, sesame seeds, and sun flower seeds to my fruit smoothies.  I fluctuate my seeds and nuts, which I prefer for the Omega's, as I am kind of grossed out by fish oil, and a bit paranoid about mercury.

Make sure you get a good quality there is lots of garbage out there.
I use Ultimate Omega from Nordic and to get 3-4g of Omega3 you still need to take about 6 caps, I take 3 am + 3 pm.

Hi NYGirl good to see you too,
Hope everything is well,

Cheers

Bromelian is an anti-inflamatory which won't harm your liver. It takes a while to work, but it's good stuff~ made from pineapple stems.
I'd take it as well as the fish oil and curcumin ( turmeric).

You could try cutting wheat out of your diet and see if that helps, it does for some.

I'd stay away from Tylenol, that stuff has caused people to have emergency liver transplants.( when taken in large doses but it is not for those with liver damage)

I had very good success treating tendonitis with 3-4g daily of Omega3 fish oil. Also very good natural antiflamatories are Curcumin (BCM95) and
Resveratrol with 500mg Transresveratrol. . They are expensive supplements
but they worked for me more than once for tendonitis.
I had very stubborn rotar cuff tend. and Ibuprofen or Tylenol would not touch
it but these supps made it go away in couple of weeks

IBTW if you are on tx or still infected I would not take the Resv. or Curcumin.

I would have suggested Tylenol without thought but since you are "cirrhotic stage 5 of 6 Ishak scale" then I'll leave this to those who have insight. If you don't receive many responses you might want to post in the Cirrhosis of the Liver Forum as well :)
