Natalie Cole update

Has anyone heard that Natalie Cole now has kidney failure.  My mom reads all the "off broadway" news (inquirer etc) and knows info before I even get wind of it.   Anyway, she said that Natalie Cole is dying of kidney failure.  Has anyone heard this and how would that happen, with the treatment?

There is nothing  authoritive on the net about kidney problems just a second hand report in the link earlier in the thread,maybe derived from the magazine in the original post, only that she is hospital cos she is not coping with the SX of treatment too well.If I were a celebrity I would get myself looked after in that way too!

The kidney failure story maybe true but I suspect that it is not.

What a shame.  I hate hearing it.  I hope she beats it, and i hope she has loving support.  You are all so helpful and caring...... I pop in almost every night just to see whats up on the site and there you all are helping in the way you can.    Thats important,  one of my brothers favorite sayings was no one gets out of here alive, and thats true, but just having a helping hand along the way makes a huge difference to the quality of day to day.  
My brother was a Vietnam Vet, and died of small intestine cancer 3 years ago.  The suffering he endured and witnessed inspired him try to make "things right" in his life.  He helped alot of people, and I feel that here too.  G'nite, Blessings, Mary

my friend was on dialysis for the last year of his life, his kidneys shut down either from the interfuron or from the hep, im not sure which...

Unfortuately, Ms. Cole was admitted into the hospital at the timing of this article, due to kidney failure. Now she's dealing with Hep C. and kidney failure. Ms. Natalie continue to pray. Our prayers and love are with you, get well soon! We love you.

I really hope that is not true too. Last I heard a couple weeks ago she was in the hosp for "rest" as they put it. She was recently on The View having breathing issues stating it was from the low RBC's. She did say the treatment was working so I assume she is UD. If it is in one of the gossip mags, chances are it is not acurate. You know how those rags are lol.

I hadn't heard about this and pray it's not true - I'll look around and see if I can find anything.  It didn't make sense that she was hospitalized for the treatment much to me and I wondered if there was more to the story at the time.........I really hope it's not true.
