Needing info asap

Hello all, I am new 2 the forum. Just wondering if anyone out there has been considered "cured" for 2 or more years> I have.. and within the last 3 months developed symptoms of Lupus. I do not see my Hepatologist for another month and my PCP says he believes it is just a bit of depression nothing to worry about. I am in some very serious pain (joint and muscle), severe fatigue, headache, nausea, decreased appetite, weight loss (of 18#'s in te last 3 months), fever (ranging b/t 99.5 - (102.6) >last night), sore throat, and my fingers & toes are blue @ times(usually when it gets cooler out) also my hands are so swollen i could not get my rings off (and they are usually loose... I was actually going to go and have them resized last month). I recentlly came across an article that indicated SLE being a risk factor in persons with PMH of Hep C. Much appreciation for any help.

I certainly hope you do not have lupus.  After cranking your immune system up with Hep c treatment, you don't need an autoimmune disease.  The diagnosis of lupus at teaching hospitals has recently gotten faster and much more accurate, using genetics instead of counting off the number of syptoms you have that fit the profile.  Good luck.
