I'm sorry for your disappointment. Some of us just seem to  have a very macho virus. If I remember correctly  you were originally in a trial with telaprevir? If you failed that I don't understand why they would put you on boceprevir? The chances of that working are about nil unless I am misundertanding something or remembering incorrectly.

It seems to me that your best bet may be a trial with no interferon, 2 DAAs and ribavirin.  Don't give up the hope. Hang in there. Better drugs are coming.

So sorry to hear your news.  I have had tx fail me twice - the trial team says that since I am a Geno 1a with the T/T allele it is difficult for me to beat this dragon with interferon and that the cure for me and others will be with the non interferon tx.  They said to keep an eye out for what Abbott is working on as their non interferon combos are showing great promise.  Get rest, keep faith and regain your health.

Dear R, I am so very very sorry for the VL.
I am in shock. I had hoped that all of us would reach UND...then SVR
I do not know what else to say other than I have read that Gilead is having a lot of success with the 7977 all oral.
When I relapsed after the first tx in 2008 I was devastated.  Everyone here was so kind to me, so supportive.
One thing I remember from either Hector, Willbb, can-do was to rest build myself back up, get my ducks in a row and try again
Dr Dietrich also told me to wait a year to get my health and soul rejuvenated before trying again.  He was very kind
My best to you
Dee
I am praying for you

Sorry to hear the bad news.
The one good thing is knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel giving hope to those who relapse because of the new oral meds currently in trial. Hopefully this new treatment will finally rid more people, of this difficult virus and will be approved rapidly.
