I"m looking at his reports online, but the PCR isn't available online due to HIPPA. Liver enzymes are amazing! ALT is only elevated past normal limits by 4 and the AST is within normal limits. In November both were extremely elevated, the ALT was at 265 at that time. His H&H is elevated and his platelets have fallen to below normal limits, which the MD is watching carefully to see if it worsens or evens out. At his first blood check at 2 weeks his white count had fallen to half of it's original value - but at this one it has come back up so that is good. Overall his doc is pretty happy with the possible exception of the platelets.
I've been reading everything I can get my hands on re: HCV for years - but the treatment stats are a bit new to me. I'm deciphering them as we go - and when I have questions we call the MD or Wendy his nurse (WHO IS AMAZING!! - we LOVE HER!!!).
We've already learned to take our victories where we can find them!!  And when we get him SVR, it will be my turn to start treatment. I'm trying to hold out for the new stuff on the horizon - our doc says it will be good!

The MD's nurse called and said "congrats" that his PCR was back and his Viral Load was at "0" from over 5,000,000 at the start 4 weeks ago.  I guess she meant UND...
And THANKS!
