ScienceDaily (Nov. 1, 2008) — Blood stored for 29 days or more, nearly 2 weeks less than the current standard for blood storage, is associated with a higher infection rate in patients who received transfusions with the blood.

I thought it may be helpful for those thinking about going for a transfusion...they might wanna check the dates on the blood source?
Hey Rock, you have been posting some interesting things but to be honest I do see how it will help most people. Maybe thing like this would be better off on the social side and leave this side to help each other and also any newbies that join. Just a thought.
